Mitch Clark

Mitch grew up in the town of Canton, NY and in the shadow of the St. Lawrence University Wrestling Team. His wrestling career included two runner-up finishes in the New York State High School Championships, the 1993 National High School Championship, two Big Ten Championships, and his crowning achievement, the 1998 NCAA Wrestling Championship. His conclusion to a near perfect 39-1 season was to become the first-ever wrestler in NCAA history to record a technical fall (15 point lead) in the first period of a finals match. He later told the story of his success in his book Make it Happen.

Since concluding his wrestling career, Mitch spent eight seasons on the wrestling staff at Ohio State where he served as head recruiter and assisted with the marketing, administration and instruction of the Ohio State Wrestling Camps. Mitch joined Advantage Sport & Fitness in 2006, bringing his expertise and experience in the industry to schools & universities throughout Western NY.
