Wilson High School’s New Weight Room is Turning Heads
FLORENCE, SOUTH CAROLINA
It’s been a few weeks since our team arrived in Florence, South Carolina to install a full range of strength & conditioning equipment in Wilson High School’s newly designed weight room, but we’re still feeling the excitement!
There’s no lack of Tiger pride in this space - we provided custom-branded Double Half Racks accompanied by benches and flooring bearing the school mascot. "Wilson Tigers" is etched on the rack connectors and upright beams, and every way you turn the equipment is decked out in Wilson purple and yellow. Custom-branded fitness equipment is one of our strengths!
When asked about the project, Wilson’s Head Strength & Conditioning Coach/Assistant Head Football Coach Torrence Daniel had this to say:
“We at Wilson High School would like to extend a big thank you to Advantage Sport & Fitness for the renovation of our new weight room facility, with a special thank you to Pete Rogers, the best representative we could have ever asked for. Pete, along with [ASF VP] John Marcotte and myself, began to bring the vision into reality.
Initially, Head Football Coach Derek Howard and I had only hoped to fundraise and maybe bring in a few new racks to make an older weight room more accessible. Once our superintendent, Dr. O’Malley found out about what we were trying to accomplish, his support was tremendous. The new renovations have definitely boosted the excitement of every athlete in our program as well as the coaches. The finished product was exactly what we expected, and we couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome.
In designing this weight room, the biggest factor was athlete safety! With this we wanted the best equipment to keep all of our athletes actively playing on their respective fields. Collaborating with Pete and John was equivalent to having a blank canvas and all the best crayons. We truly appreciate you guys being a class act from start to finish!“
