CELEBRATING OUR 30TH YEAR!

As we begin our 30th year, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on what’s gotten us here and why we’ve continued to grow. Looking back at our starting point, it would have been hard to predict that we would eventually be a team of 70+ talented individuals, serving a total of nine states and partnering with the premier brands in the fitness industry. But before we go too far down that road, let us speak plainly and recognize that without partnerships that turned into friendships and customers who trusted us to deliver only the best, we may not be celebrating 30 years today. After all, sales at their purest are simply trusted words of advice from a friend, and service is really just the universal principle of doing the right thing.

Most would probably expect this article to be full of our greatest achievements and most notable accolades, but that’s not really what we’d like to focus on. We want to thank you, our customers, readers, team members, vendor partners, and friends, for contributing to our story and our success. John Murray, our company president, put it best when he said, “Advantage has always been built on our people. The difference between the company then and now is the breadth of talent in our people. Our vendors align with who we are, and who we partner with has made us a better company.”

One of the best things about Advantage is that we have many people who have been on the team for 10, 15, and even 20+ years, and there’s a bond between us that lives somewhere on the border between friendship and family. So, with gratitude for all the dedication and hard work that’s brought us this far:
